Daniel Cottier Productions officially began in 2024. I had long been wanting to start my own company, so I backed myself and began.
In its first year, DCP produced two shows:
OCCASIONAL COMBUSTIBLE DISASTER by Daniel Cottier at QTOPIA (with Dandy)
THE INHERITANCE by Matthew Lopez (with Sugary Rum, Seymour Centre and Shane Anthony).
THE INHERITANCE was awarded Best Ensemble, Best Direction and Best Independent Production at the 2024 Sydney Theatre Awards.
